Matching Gifts

More than 1,300 companies sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, request a matching gift form from the personnel office or download it from the company website, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to ASAP may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees or directors.

Some companies match gifts of cash, gifts of securities, and gifts-in-kind on a dollar-for-dollar basis, while others match at ratios as high as four-to-one. 

Each year, money from matching gifts helps ensure that the Annual Fund continues to help provide the financial resources necessary to maintain and expand ASAP’s status as a world-class research, education, and support organization. 

Reasons to Match Your Gift to ASAP

  • You can increase the value of your total gift to ASAP. 

  • You can help your company fund research, education, and support.

  • Matching gifts count toward Bobby Jones Society membership.

  • If our more than 4,000 members worked for matching gift companies and they all took advantage of the benefit, we would be able to raise an additional $500,000. Those dollars, collectively, could easily fund three more Research Grants.
