I'm glad I can make you laugh! That's what we all need. A good laugh. And with the stupid things that have been coming out of my mouth lately, I can probably supply at least a laugh a day. I don't know what has happened to me!

I can either blame it on the SM, old age, genetics, the drugs, take your pick.

Hope everyone is having a great day. It's going to be in the 50's today! Heat Wave!!!!!!

Hahahaha.....

This reminds me of that cellular commercial where the mom is so fed up with all the texting that goes on between her family members - when they are sitting right there next to one another. Even the granny is using abbreviations!

Maybe profanity helps people get their point across when they aren't getting enough attention any other way. Just a thought. The people in my life that do that shall remain nameless...

Well, I'm off to find an interpolator - this probate work in front of me makes no sense.

I forgot to ask. Does this mean we can swear as long as we do it in abbreviations? Or did I already ask that?

Just kidding. I don't swear anyway. We always tell my son that people who swear aren't very smart and have a limited vocabulary. So far it's working!

At our house, we like to say:

Dang flabbit!
Son of a monkey's uncle!
What the french, toast? (my personal favorite)

Maybe people who cuss a lot just don't know any better. Kids, especially - you know they've GOT to be hearing it from their parents! I've met a few 'edumacated' people who's vocabulary consists of several "F-bombs" and a few G.D.'s. Then there's the folks who think swearing makes them appear cool. Yes, nothing more attractive than a woman spewing the f-word like it's common talk. Always consider the source, my friend. WORD.

OK, now, what did I miss this time??? I don't recall seeing "WTF" in a topic heading. I just did a search and the search didn't come up with anything either (by that I mean in a topic heading).

It's just a phrase. Let's not judge others based on what words they choose to use.

lol, thats really funny!

You know I'm only eighteen, but I swear, when I talk to younger kids, I feel like I'm so old, because they already have some other lingo that I haven't heard. They come up with new stuff everyday! Thanks for the chuckle.

Terri, I'm embarassed to say, but No, I don't know what that means. I've seen it before, but when I see it I think of Mark Ruffalo.

Then again, you know the sideways smilies people put in emails |) ? Up until about a year ago, I swear I used to think that everyone was making the same typo. I had no idea it was supposed to be a smiley face. I used to think "I wonder how everyone is hitting those same two keys all the time?"

 Don't get me wrong. I'm a smart girl. Just a little slow sometimes

GG here is the post that I think started all of this

http://asap.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3317

I don't know what you are all upset about either. Was there something else in your post before you edited it?

Maybe I need an interpolator also LOL

Oh and ROFL=rolling on the floor laughing, I don't use the rest of it either because this is short sweet non offensive and gets the same point across.

I have kids and want to be an example not an excuse such as , you say it why can't I?

Are you talking about me? Did I edit something? I must have missed something. Is someone upset about something?

I don't think I've ever used the word something so many times at once!
