NEED APPT W/NEUROSURGEON. WHERE R GOOD ONES THAT DEAL W/SM?

Postby preciousheide » Tue Mar 18, 2008 10:20 pm

I told my doctor, that I would help with the research on trying to find a Neurosurgeon that deals with SM, but I have been searching online for a couple days and havent gotten anywhere. I really want to make an appt, so that I can get this show on the road. I still dont even have a known cause for my condition.

If anyone knows of a good NS please let me know I will travel anywhere. Including out of the country if I have too.

My doctor is working on finding the funding for the travel now!!!!Just need to know where to go.

Thanks for any help.

Sorry, I don't know that neck of the woods, but I think you would do better with a neuroSURGEON; they seem to be better informed of this condition. I hope someone else chimes in with the name of a specialist near you. I feel for you...

Have you checked on-line to see if any postings come up? Sometimes physicians have a web-site listing their specialty and a bio.

Barb, welcome back, nice to see you posting again. Hope everything is going well.

Take care and I hope you both are having a pleasant day.
GOD Bless!

Razzle always has a listing of NLs/NS. Maybe she can help.
