Hello and hope your test go well.
I was hurt by a EMG and a very upcaring NL in Charlotte. He put the leads between a scar, where I had a operation on my left rist.I told him I had a healed cut there and as soon as he hit me the the elec impulse,my thumb and part of my fore finger---they went numb.I still haven't got all the feeling back. I later found out the EMG should never be used close to scar tissue, and areas of skin that has been cut and healed.

Don't want to scare you ,its just another test that can sause problems. I have EDS and hope I've had my last one.

Your buddy...Jerry in Carolina...

When the Lord told Noah to build an ark, Noah in his shortcomings looked to the sky and asked, "Lord, what's an ark?"

Keesha, what's an EMG?

Peace,
David

Keesha,

You know I'll be with you in spirit, girl.

Jerry - thanks for that little tidbit of information about the scar! I have different scars on my forearms, well actually closer to the wrist from having puppies scratch my paper thin skin! I'll remember that if and when I have to get one of those done!

Be strong Keesha. I know you will be.

love and hugs,
sandy :D

Hi Keesha, sorry it was a bad experience. At least you can look back and say it's over.

Keesha, that sounds horrible. Thank goodness that's over with. I hope that if you need another EMG you will go to a different NL. Try and take some time for yourself, you deserve it! And do feel better soon!
