what are the symptoms? do they overlap?

Postby artgirl » Wed Oct 13, 2010 3:20 pm

i was watching youTube & an ASAP member said there are 150 symptoms! is that for both SM & CM. do they overlap? i've been diagnosed with SM but seem to have the majority of the CM symptoms. is this common? where can i find a list of the other symptoms or can we compile one as a group? i just gathered the list of SM/CM Symptoms from this website, which is basically what i've found other places.... i'm looking for answers to what i'm experiencing on this journey...

some more are here too , but you are not going to get all of them. and some of these symptoms can be the same of other dieases so dont always assumed its chiari related . R

I have only about 8 of them now . before surgery a few more
Once you choose hope, anything's possible.

I had one doc say I had chiari zero, I have every one of the chiari symptoms, even the sneeze. In my MRI my hindbrain is squeezed tight with the pituary glands oversized/laying on my cord inproperly. The docs just tell me that it is a coincident and there is no such thing as chiari 0

Many if not most NS don't believe in Chiari-0. Some of the big proponents have lost their licences lately and some of the others have become much more conservitive in their diagnosis/beliefs since then.

I think even among us this may be a contraversial topic. Heck, I don't even know if I believe it myself!
