It's Time

Postby gunflint » Sun Oct 09, 2011 1:20 pm

Tomorrow I leave for Bethesda. My decompression surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. I just wanted to thank everyone here for their help and information. I haven't contributed much lately but I've been busy trying to get everything in order as I don't believe that I'll be in good enough shape post surgery to do much later in the fall. Those of you who live in northern climates know what I mean. And to be truthful I was also trying to get away from all of this for even a short time.

I check this site everyday and will continue to do so. I will post my experiences at the NIH when I am able. Thank you all once again,

Good luck! Say hello to the great team at NIH. I really like Dr Heiss and some of the nurses were fabulous. The junior docs tended to be a bit pompous, but I think they all were a bit insecure at the same time as being fiercely ambitious, so I cut them some slack.

How are things going? How are you doing?

I hope all is well, and you survived your trip to the east coast in fairly good shape.
