Need a Chiari-friendly doctor in Columbus, Ohio

Postby brightspot » Sun Feb 26, 2012 10:12 am

Howdy, all -

Well, I'm back again because almost two years post-endoscopic decompression, I am having symptoms again. Le sigh. I had my decompression with Dr. Di at Cleveland Clinic in 2010. After my 1 month follow up, I lost health insurance and couldn't see anyone. Now, I have health insurance again, but my general doctor (an internalist) doesn't know much about Chiari. The neurologist I was going to before Dr. Di knew LESS than nothing about Chiari, let alone post-decompression. Dr. Di moved to Georgia, I think? I need to see someone who understands.

Does anyone have any doctor recommendations (general and neurological) in Columbus, Ohio?

Thanks in advance, Chiari family! :)

Yeah, I've actually seen Dr. Tew, and he's a good guy...but he's in Cincinnati, and he's a neurosurgeon. I'm hoping for someone in Columbus.
