Chiari malformation can often be associated with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), a connective tissue disorder which can include certain muscular-skelatal abnormalities.

see www.ednf.org for more information.

If the pituitary gland is damaged that would cause it to right?

Hi Mr. Chiari

I wish I could answer your questions relating to your pituary gland malfunctioning, presently I have been undergoing massive amounts of testing and seeing various specialists to determine why mine is creating havoc in my life.

Good luck to you in your search for answers, when I find out the answers on my problems I will keep you posted, in the event you find out something soon, please keep us all posted.

Take care,
-Mary

The pituitary gland produces human growth hormone also which will stop your bone mass from getting larger. I've read alot that mentions it can also effect your mood and the energy that you produce.

I went to the doctor and I recommended a bone scan. So I'm going in for a bone scan and some hormone tests next tuesday.
