Glaucoma

Hi Everyone,

It has been a while since I have posted. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a relationship between glaucoma and Chiari or syringomyelia?

Hi Sara,

IMO, any condition effected by the nervous system has a potential of being caused by CM and/or SM. You first approach would be to see the specialist that deals w/Glaucoma. This specialist should be able to lead you in the right direction, as far as the cause. If it's in any way connected to nervous system, I wouldn't rule out CM/SM unless the specialist specifically states that it not caused by the nervous system.

Take care,
GOD Bless!

Thank you, I thought so. My daughter has CM1, 3mm Syringomyelia from t2 to t10 and mild scoliosis. I am getting the information over to the neurologist now.
