Daughter's MRI report

Postby harris2215 » Wed Oct 27, 2010 7:15 pm

I read this on my daughter's MRI report and was wondering if any of you know what it means.

There is prominence of the central canal beginning at the level of C5 with hydromyelia beginning at the level of T8. -MRI 10/7/2009

What is prominence of the central canal?

I plan on asking this at the next NS appt. but was curious if anyone knew so I would have a better understanding when I ask the NS.

Thanks
Christine
