Found something for the HA

Postby dtyree » Tue Mar 18, 2008 3:13 pm

Recently, the hospital gave be Hydrocodone/Apap. My doc recently gave me Butalbital/Apap/ caffine for HA. By themselves, did not do the trick on this HA 24/7, 7-10 on the pain scale.

Found that 2 Hydrocodones and 1 Butalbital finally did the trick. Probably should not have done it, but the HA finally went away, at least for now. God what relief.

Researched both meds and both contain narcotics. Now, a little foggy, but.

Peace,
David

Hydrocodone/APAP is generic Lortab or Lorcet. The other is generic fioricet. The APAP= tylenol. The most dangerous part of that is too much tylenol. You should not take more than two tabs at a time and no more than 4000mg of the tylenol part per day. Be careful- u can have an acute liver failure with that much tylenol and respiratory depression with that much narcotic.
