Humidity and Pain

Postby LauraDiBella » Mon Jun 18, 2007 11:04 am

My 5 year old is experiencing more pain in his back and weakness in his legs. The pain specialist and his pediatrician think it might be because the humidity has been high lately. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi. I'm quite a bit older than 3  , but I have noticed that the weather plays a big part in how I feel. It's not so much the humidity with me, but whenever there is a drastic, sudden change in weather, my pain goes through the roof. For example, on Monday it was hot, 95, and dry. On Tuesday, we woke up to rain and 60 degrees. I noticed Monday night that I started to have a lot more pain. I told my husband I could feel a change coming on. I'm like a barometer now!

Take care.

Humidity and high and low pressures make my pain worse.

Humidity and Pain

Postby LauraDiBella » Sat Jun 23, 2007 11:18 am

Thank you all for answering. I am now pretty sure the weather changes and the increase in humidity play a big part in his increased pain and weakness. Any tips on how to help him through it? Should I discuss increasing his pain meds with his doctors?
