Steel rods in Neck for Chiari?

Postby LEA123 » Wed May 23, 2012 11:15 pm

Hey I'm just wondering, I think I remember hearing about a chiari patient the had steel rods put in their neck, has anyone ever heard of this? Do you know why they would do this? and if it helped?

Thanks,
Lisa

I have titanium rods in my neck, not steel, they were put in during my PFD. They were put in to aid in the stability of my neck.
