ASAP Blog

Some days I feel like I am being torn in a thousand different directions.  I would love to be able to post to this blog everyday.  To share interesting bits of knowledge, helpful coping techniques or just a laugh.  But it never happens.  Awe, the best laid plans…  Well I will continue to post as often as I can and any who have something to share, please feel free to do so.

  1. Hi!
I was diagnosed with Sryingomyelia in two thousand and four. I had Syrin in my C spine, T spine, and Lumbar Spine. I also had herniated disk in my C 4-7, and L spine 4 uprooted nerve S 5. I had surgery on my C Spine and have cadaver disk and a titanium plate. I had this done in 2005, and there was a dramatic difference in my pain levels for approx a year. No more daily migraine for approx 3 yrs. I had a MIR 3 mos ago they say there has been on change but my C spine pain h a s increased as well as my migraines. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia two yrs ago. I also have Arthritis all over my body. I take Savilla twice a day, Gabapentine 4 times a day, and I take Hydrocodone 4 times a day. I am also a Diabetic and take Lantus and Humalog as need a day. I also have high blood pressure and take 2 different meds for that as well as high Cholesterol med. I had Gastric Vertical Sleeve Surgery last July 29,13. I have lost a total of 83 lbs, I have 56 lbs to go before I reach my goal weight. I have some days where I can’t get out of bed and hardly walk across the floor. Some days that I really feel good where I push myself so hard all day I’m in bed for the next 3-5 days. I decided that we needed to have a veg garden this yr I am work it with a shovel and rake it’s taken me a month to plant 3 1/2 rows, because I’m in bed for 2 -3 days after 1 row.lol I keep telling myself when it comes in it will be worth all of the pain I’ve gone thru to have it.
