Innercranial hypertension

Postby hikealaska » Sun Sep 11, 2011 12:38 am

I seem to be having symptoms larger than just "normal" Chiari. I have spent today very lethargic. Hard to stay conscious. Double vision and numb hands and arms. Looking things up it sounds like IH. How do you know when it's time to get medical intervention?

My time was when my head hurt so bad I was in tears and vomiting uncontrollably....That's when I went to ER and had to have a lumbar puncture drain. I would try to seek medical attention before it gets that bad because this was one of the most horrid pains i'd ever had, and lumbar punctures suck so if they can treat you with medicine that would be preferable.
