Weather Head?

Postby Sandy » Sat Jun 30, 2007 12:54 pm

It's raining here today. Besides the regular aches and pains from the weather, my head is also full of stuff, I guess air but feels like cotton.

I can feel/hear my heart pounding in my ears. Does anyone else get this?

Pressure, full pressure, like you need to yawn to clear your ears and make them pop only that makes no difference. I guess you'd call it weather-head.

So I thought I'd ask my fellow cm/sm buddies here if you hve this problem and if it aggravates you.

Thanks in advance. I feel like I need to chew gum, do all those things that will clear the ears only it's not going to happen!

I have serious ear issues which I am wondering if they are related to my ACM. It is my primary complaint. I have roaring sounds in my ear also. This last attack lasted for 4 months. During that time my ear was plugged so I couldn't hear out of it, also made loud roaring sounds, I felt pressure and fullness in it, and towards the end of the attack I was having pain and feeling of hot liquid draining in the Eustachian tube. I never had any discharge out of my ear, and have been told that it is nerve related. None of the specialists I have seen can tell me for sure if it is related to my ACM, so I trying to get to TCI.

Hope your ear feels better real soon. I know how frustrating it is, and I will be praying that it resolves real soon for you.

Oh my gosh, I've had the same thing deb said once.... my right ear was extremely hot feeling to me, and it was this roaring sound.
The nurse at my junior high thought I was crazy!!!
It was soo unbearable. I can't imagine it happening for months... you're incredible for getting through that.
The nurse gave me a cold washcloth and I just held it over my ear for hours... didn't really help much though. I layed flat on my back for the rest of the school day and it eventually subsided.

I hope you can find a way to get some relief!
