I've heard many times that a loss of sensation is SM thing.....
and not being able to feel hot/cold so much.....

but what about the exact opposite?

being extra touch sensitive....and super sensitive to hot/cold?

ever heard of that???

No I haven't heard this as being a symptom of SM however I am super sensitive to hot and cold. I think my body temperature is normally colder than most. Sometimes I am almost ice cold to the touch and I always feel it. However when I am hot I am extremely hot not usually just warm. I also seem to feel everything. I think that has to do with the probably neuropathy that I have. I feel everything as if I am being shocked with electricity. Who knows if its a symptom of just a coincidence however.

sorry me either! I have the loss. I actually gave myself a second almost 3rd degree burn on my stove,, and had no idea! I also have to have someone check my bath water. But nerves work in strange ways,, LOL I hate it when my neurologist says to me,,, you have a bad cord,, so strange things are going to happen!!
