Surgery 11/12

My son's CM decompresion surgery is this coming Monday, 11/12. We are nervous but also excited to get this behind us.

If you are the praying type, please say one for Will.

If not, please keep your fingers crossed!

Best of luck to you all!!! I will keep Will in my prayers. Please let us know how he does. Make sure he drinks plenty of fluids this weekend. That was some good advice that I got before the surgery.

Great suggestion on drinking fluids! I would never have thought of it.

Any other bits of advice for us will be greatly appreciated.

Our prayers to Will and to you and your family. We know how you feel. Our son has surgery scheduled for December 24th. Good luck and God Bless Will and his doctors.

That's my birthday so it will be a good day for him!!! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for him!

You all will be in our prayers, especially Will. There was some scripture that meant so much to me as we waited in the waiting room during surgery for Joey. Maybe it will help you, too. Philippians 4:6-9

6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Tonya, I got goosebumps reading the scripture you posted.

My neighbor across the street sent me the same scripture. I printed it and plan to have it with me.

At the end of the day, all the worry in the world won't accomplish a thing. But putting my faith in God can move mountains.
