Hey all, anyone her from indiana? Who do you take your kids to? My son is scheduled to see Dr Jodi Smith @Riley Hospital next week. I'm just not real sure about the indiana ped's docs. I had horrible experiences with adult NSG and ended up at Cleveland Clinic for my DX.

I am from southern Indiana. I see Dr Oro in Colorado for myself but I have heard that Dr Frim in Chicago is wonderful. I know if my kids start having problems, he will definately be the one they see. Where in Indiana are you?

I am about an hr from indianapolis to the northwest.
Dr. Boaz did teach at IU, the up incoming ns
after 4 decompressions and a shunt placement ,I saw him and he helped my ns fix the probelm with great success ,I was one of those cases.....
I would possibly see him again if probelms arose ,theres not much to pick from here in this town that knows about sm,cm,or shunts....

I wish I had checked this a couple of months ago. My son was decompressed by Dr. Jodi Smith, and we are very happy with her. She was great. He has made many improvements. He is a new child. His decompression was April 2, 2007.

We live in southern Indiana and recently returned from Chicago from a visit with Dr. Frimm. Our 9 year old son is scheduled for Chiari Decompression surgery on December 24th. He has CM and a syrinx from T2 - T8. We have been battling symptoms since Feb. 2004 and after bouncing from doctor to specialist and back again, Dr. Frimm has finally given us an answer. I know we can't comment on the surgery yet, but we believe God has led us to the right place.
