tethered cord surgery

i was just seen at tci and have scheduled surgery for second decompression. i also will have to have tethered cord surgery a couple of months after should i be trying to get an electric wheelchair and hospital bed for home?

I've never had a decompression before. But I did have a tethered cord surgery. I recommend a few weeks in bed afterwards, some slow movement. but it's also important to go at your own pace. Everybody and Body is different. I was very very young when I had my surgery so I might have bounced back faster. But once again, Bodies are different.

I had a second decompression & tethered cord surgery in 2002. I was so happy afterwards because I no longer peed the bed :oops:
