What is the room rate?
The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club has given ASAP conference attendees a discounted rate of $149 plus tax per night. .
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Reserved room block ends July 1 2024. –Room block will still be available but rates will increase after July 1, 2024.
When is check-in and check-out?
Hotel check-in time is 3:00 pm local time. Check-out time is 12:00 noon.
What is the last day to reserve a room at discounted rate?
Reserve your room by July 1, 2024 to receive the discounted rate! A limited number of discounted rooms are available as first come first served basis.

What days are including in the discounted room block?
Discounted room rates are available July 14 – 20, 2024. Room block discount ends July 1, 2024.
Do I have to stay at the conference hotel?
No, but you will miss out on ASAP’s significantly discounted room rate. Staying at the The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club offers the convenience of being near the conference proceedings and gives you the opportunity to spend social time with other attendees.

What is the registration fee for attending the conference?
Early Registration:
Adults 16+: $175 each
Children Ages 5-15: $65
Family Pack: two adults and two children: $425
No charge for children under 5 years
What is included in the registration fee:
- All lectures Tuesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon
- Opening Dinner Reception Tuesday evening
- Breakfast Wednesday and Thursday
- Cocktail Dinner Reception Thursday late afternoon
Can I attend for only one day?
Yes. The single day rate is $60.
Do I have to pay online?
No, you can download our conference registration form here and mail it in to the office. (Office mailing address is included on form).
Do accept walk-ins during the conference?
Yes, we accept walk-ins, however we encourage you to register earlier so we can prepare your welcome badge, and meals that are included. You can register online, by phone or by mail. On-site registration is also available.
Is registration refundable?
Yes. You must cancel before Jul 1 to receive a refund less a $25 handling fee. We are not able to give refunds after the cutoff date due to commitment of food orders.
Hotel reservations are separate. Cancellations for hotel must be made 48 hours prior to arrival by 4pm hotel time in order to avoid payment of a penalty in an amount equal to the cost of one night room rate plus applicable taxes.
Can children attend the conference?
Absolutely! When one family member is diagnosed, it affects everyone. The conference allows patients, family and friends to interact and share with others who understand their unique perspectives.
When does the conference end?
The conference concludes with a cocktail dinner reception following the final session on Thursday evening.
Is assistance available for people wanted to attend the conference?
