“…With the coming together of family and friends, we can make miracles happen for people with no hope.” –Barbara White, 1988
ASAP’s Barbara White Society was created to honor the generous individuals who provide an annual gift of $1,000 or more to help meet the challenges we face. Named after ASAP’s founder, Barbara White, this premiere recognition club is comprised of friends who share the belief that everyone with SM/CM deserves information and answers about syringomyelia and Chiari malformation.
Any individual who provides an annual gift or gifts totaling $1,000 or more in a 12-month period is recognized in the Barbara White Society. Some friends pay in quarterly or monthly installments; others give a one-time gift each year. These gifts benefit programs, and are not related to special events or tickets sales or other premiums.
Friends contributing to the Society are making a vital difference—creating solutions that change lives. You can become a member of the Society on several different levels:
Barbara and Don White Circle $10,000 and above
Benefactor $5,000 to $9,999
Roundtable $2,500 to $4,999
Patron $1,000 to $2,499
Your annual Society gift to ASAP is a caring demonstration of your commitment to serving the people who are impacted by SM/CM. As a member of the society, you will help set the standard for charitable giving in our organization and, by example, motivate those who have the potential to increase their level of commitment. In appreciation of your significant you will be recognized as follows:
- Your name listed in the annual report (with your permission).
- Recognition of your generosity from professional colleagues, company management, neighbors, friends and family.
- An invitation for you and a guest to the exclusive, complimentary Society Reception hosted by the CEO and the Board of Directors at the annual conference.
- Invitations to attend other ASAP events throughout the year.
